Town of Dansville
Road Salt Letter
To Residents of the Town of Dansville:
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. So far it’s been an average start for the winter season, even though it will not officially begin until the 21st.
As the winter season approaches, many town residents will face a difficult time managing their energy costs. This situation will be particularly hard on the elderly and those with fixed or low incomes. It is important that residents are made aware of steps they can take, and programs they can participate in, to reduce their energy use and help control this winter’s energy bills.
The New York State Public Service Commission’s winter outreach and education campaign is designed to provide energy efficiency and financial assistance to help all consumers in New York State stay warm and safe during the winter months. I am encouraging all Town Residents to take energy saving measures and to take advantage of financial assistance programs that can make paying winter bills easier or help with the purchase of energy efficiency improvements. Visit www.AskPSC.com . If necessary, ask a family member to help you with getting help through this web site.
With tax season just around the corner, remember the Assessor Office Hours are on Friday only, 8 a.m.-noon and 1p.m.-4 p.m.
Board Meetings are the 2nd Thursday of every month, 7 p.m. I welcome everybody to attend.
